Designing an electronic lens by using EOD software
This study concentrates on finding the optimum design for symmetric double pole piece magnetic lenses which are magnetically unsaturated, to use in the construction of magnetic optical systems for transmission electron microscopes (TEM). The same computer program, known as EOD, In the present work, the effect of some geometrical factors on magnetic lenses has been studied, namely the width of the air gap The importance of this study lies in the possibility of determining the appropriate geometry of the magnetic lenses to benefit from them in making transmission electron microscopes.
